I always feel like I let myself off too easy when I draw simple/surreal backgrounds, even thought it sometimes necessary to keep things clear and easy to view. Backgrounds are still new concept to me.
Art is so hard, argh.

P.S.: Thank you all for your comments, you guys are so sweet for having time to write me..!

I feel the same way, although sometimes simpler backgrounds are a nice way of breaking up a busy page.
The last panel is just vicious, like I can almost /hear/ it?? This is a rather violent comic and I am lovin it.

(btw I noticed you were following my comic and oMG? Thankyou?! I'm sitting here literally like "senpai has noticed m e?" like you have been one of my favorite artists since I was in high school wow)

Ah no way! Sometimes blank backgrounds are effective for the scene you're trying to get across. Tite Kubo who makes Bleach does it often :)

I don't know whether we can trust this guy but his suaveness is persuading me to like him ;)
